Privacy Policy

The short version

Moab CareLink is a static informational website. It does not collect personal information from visitors, does not require accounts, does not sell anything, and does not track individuals for advertising. The self-check tools on this site run entirely in your browser — your answers never leave your device.

What we collect

Information you give us voluntarily

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use that only to respond to you.

Technical information (hosting logs)

This site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify, like most web hosts, automatically records basic technical information about visits — for example, the date and time, the pages requested, the IP address of the requester, browser type, and referring website. This is standard for any website and is used to keep the site running, prevent abuse, and generate aggregate statistics. See Netlify's privacy policy for details.

Anonymous analytics

So we can see which parts of the site are useful and where people get stuck — and keep improving it — we use two privacy-respecting analytics tools:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics — counts page views and where visitors come from, with no cookies and no individual tracking. See Cloudflare's privacy approach.
• Microsoft Clarity — records anonymous session activity (mouse movements, clicks, scrolling) so we can see whether pages are working the way they should. Clarity does not capture text you type, and personal information is masked. See Microsoft's privacy statement.

Neither tool is used for advertising, neither sells data, and neither creates a profile that follows you across websites.

Self-check tools

The caregiver fatigue check, burnout quiz, and 22-question caregiver burden self-check all run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your answers and scores are not transmitted anywhere, are not saved between sessions, and are not accessible to us. Closing the tab erases them.

What we do not collect

• We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, or any account information
• We do not set advertising cookies or allow third-party ad trackers
• We do not sell data — there is no data to sell
• We do not use "fingerprinting" to identify individual visitors
• We do not collect health information, diagnosis information, or answers to self-check questions

Third-party content

This site loads Google Fonts (Playfair Display and Lato) from Google's CDN. When your browser loads these fonts, Google may see your IP address and browser information per Google's privacy policy. No user identification is provided to Google from our side.

We link out to other websites — government agencies, hospitals, nonprofits, and so on. Once you follow an external link, you are on that site and their privacy practices apply, not ours.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. For material changes, we will update the date and, where feasible, note what changed.
